Dangers of Church Membership
Jesus Christ, and those that stay true to him by the power of Holy Spirit, will always prevail. But, unfortunately, hell has “broken loose” in most church groups of today! Sinners have raised their banner of ownership.
They have the numbers on their side. Therefore THEY have concluded that no one can live a holy life, a life without sin, even by the power of God. Well, what do you expect when sinners are calling the shots, setting the standards?! They “fix the game” in their favor! If the teacher/preacher is saying, “Nobody can live free from sin”, then he, or she, is admitting to being a sinner. That alone disqualifies a person from speaking in the name of Jesus Christ; because of what God’s word says in 1 John 3:8.
And there are many other scriptures that prove their conclusion is a lie! All those that believe a lie are guilty of “crimes” against God.
As stated in Scripture, they are “enemies of the cross of Christ”; and they do not have to be a person that openly sins, or be a member of a false religion. There are many opportunities available, just being a member of certain churches.
Beware of Eternal Judgment
If the teaching or practices of the church are in any way contrary to the teachings of the New Testament, they are against Christ. We must remember, only a little leaven, or error, leavens, or changes the whole lump, or the person’s whole spiritual life (Galatians 5:9). In other words, it is like a cancer. It starts off small, but eventually it can bring deadly consequences. As prophesied in the Bible, the fallen church is here now in a big way! It is mainly because more sinners have leadership roles in churches. Many people have become accessories to the fallen church because they are deceived by false teaching. This could be greatly reduced if more people read their Bibles for themselves. But there are those that like what they are being taught, because it allows them to believe they are saved, even though they are sinners. However, that is totally contrary to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
According to the Bible, Jesus will say to them in judgment, “I never knew you; depart from me, you that worker iniquity (or sin)”.
