The Road Back Home

You grew up a little bit. You began to think for yourself. You began to think of yourself, concluding that either you were a nobody, or somebody special. Based on that assessment, you began to make certain decisions about life.Eventually, your decisions resulted in some good things, and some bad. The bad things were always troubling; but even though the good things started out good, they would often become troubling also. In the Bible book of Job, chapter 14 verse one, God’s word says, “Man (man or woman) that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.”

So then, the main cause of trouble is not in the outward circumstances that develop, the main cause of trouble is in the inward disposition we bring into the physical circumstances. In other words, we are born with something within that no matter what steps you take, or moves you make, it will be tracking you. That something is our sin nature, that everyone has inherited from our fore-parents, Adam and Eve. Their original sin was being disobedient to God.

Notice that Romans 3:23 is a Past Tense statement. All MUST be HOLY to go  to Heaven! Nevertheless, Adam and Eve’s bad decision threw human nature, the universe, and all of creation off course. So, no matter how sophisticated or educated you may seek to become, it will be there. Therefore, no matter who you know, or where you go, it will be there; UNLESS there was some special way we COULD go home again; or be born all over again. (If you feel a little movement in your heart, or feel a little sentimental, call on God to engage that feeling, and inwardly reach out to God.) This could be the beginning of taking the road back home, which we all need.

The road back home is back to where we belong [Psalm 90:1]. It is how we return to the greatness God created humans to have. We were to have dominion over the whole earth [Genesis 1:26]. Having the right relationship with God is how we experience our real home. Anything else, and anyplace else, and anybody else is not a good fit.

The road back home, however, has as its milestones: myth shattering truth; a crucifixion of our old sin nature, often referred to as “the flesh”; and a resurrection into a new life; with a new identity as a child of God. [John 8:32; 1 John 2:15, 16, 17; Romans 6:6; Galatians 5:24; Romans 6:4; 2 Corinthians 5:17].

For additional understanding of how to become a true Christian, especially in this age of the Fallen Church, please watch “Enter God’s Workshop” a 4-part video series on CROSS & SPIRIT YouTube channel. Also, the following diagram may be used as well. The Fallen Church syndrome was predicted in the old and New Testament. It would happen before the Rapture, or the return of Jesus for his people. It was to be, and is a very tragic situation for many churchgoing people. They would believe their souls were saved, but instead be headed for damnation. [2 Thessalonians 2:3, 9-12]. To help people overcome this tragedy, this ministry emphasizes how we must respond to the inner working of the Holy Spirit.
